Seth McDonald is the Digital Director overseeing quality and manufacturing innovation within GE Aviation. Seth graduated from Purdue University with a Masters in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineer in 2006. He then joined GE Aviation where he spent the first part of his career as a composite hardware designer, introducing GE's first ever high energy rotating composite part. Always passionate about challenging the status quo, Seth has held roles in Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality focusing on process improvement in the design and manufacture of Aircraft Engines and Avionics. In a culmination of his professional experience, Seth has partnered with GE Digital to establish a manufacturing digital thread that is leading to reduced Cost of Quality and optimized service agreements for GE Aviation's customers.
