Identifying and attracting top talent for each and every role at Toyota is simply the first step for her and her team. Ensuring every person receives the highest level of customer service and respect is a priority — not only for interviews and on boarding— but throughout their team member experience.
Terri’s passion for people and her dedication to telling the Toyota story creates a team member experience like no other. Her goal is to help team members understand and appreciate Toyota’s proud heritage while at the same time inspiring them to challenge what’s possible to help Toyota fulfill its dream of unlimited mobility for all. She believes that each team member’s professional journey should be as epic as the Toyota journey itself.
A self-proclaimed life-long gear head who grew up in the automotive industry, it was only natural that Terri wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps. After an internship with Honda of America and professional roles in dealer operations, executive development, staff and labor relations at DaimlerChrysler Corporation, she joined Toyota in 2004. Her various responsibilities at Toyota have included organizational management, strategic planning, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion management, as well as talent management, training, and development.
